I graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University with my bachelor’s degree, and attended the University of Miami where I received my doctorate. My approach is to use a wide-range of treatments that I have trained and taught including Trigger Point Dry Needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, OnBase University screens, and various other techniques to get you feeling and performing better. I will help you reach your goals of competing pain-free and better than before!
If you want to decrease your pain or improve your performance, request a physical therapy evaluation so we can perform a thorough assessment to discover any issues that may be affecting you. Sarah Lehnert, RD, LDN
Hi! My name is Sarah Lehnert and I am a licensed and registered dietitian. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University in 2017. From 2017 to 2018, I completed my accredited dietetic internship through West Virginia University Medicine with over 1,400 hours of supervised practice within various clinical, community, and administrative settings. I received the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’s Outstanding Dietetic Intern of the Year Award for the state of West Virginia in 2018. For nearly 4 years, I worked in the hospital setting and addressed the nutrition needs of individuals of all ages (spanning from birth to end-of-life). My various experiences in the clinical realm truly opened my eyes to the immense gaps in outpatient nutrition-related care in Northern Virginia. As a dietitian, I am passionate about helping individuals at all ages and stages of sport to repair their relationship with food and educating on the role of nutrition in improving physical performance.
